2020 Yankees schedule released
The 2020 Major League Baseball schedule was released on Monday night, and a marquee matchup will open up the shortened, 60 game season.
Gerrit Cole and the Yankees will square off against Max Scherzer and the defending World Series champions, the Washington Nationals, at 7 p.m. on July 23.
The Yankees will play 20 games against the NL East, and 40 games against the AL East, in order to limit travel during the coronavirus pandemic.
