The 41-year-old, semi-retired DH earned high praise last season when he made his debut for FOX on the pre and postgame shows for the playoffs. A-Rod's always had a high baseball IQ, and it's obvious he eats, sleeps and breathes the game. FOX confirmed the announcement, and called A-Rod "a natural" broadcaster. Rodriguez also released a statement, in which he said "I had a great experience working with the team at Fox Sports. They made me feel comfortable as a TV rookie and I'm excited to be back with them for the postseason." FOX Sports will carry the NLDS, NLCS and World Series. The NLDS begins on Oct. 7.
