Britton, Peralta to IL; Abreu, Kriskie recalled
BOSTON, Mass. — The New York Yankees bullpen took a hit on Sunday. Lefthanded relievers Zack Britton and Wandy Peralta were placed on the 10-day injured list.
In a corresponding move, right-handed relievers Albert Abreu and Brooks Kriskie have been recalled and will be in the Yankee bullpen Saturday evening.
Britton, who exited Friday night's game in the eighth inning, was sidelined with a hamstring issue. Meanwhile, Peralta is dealing with back pain.
