Bronx Bombers home run alert
Keeping tabs on every home run for the New York Yankees this season. In their 5-4 victory against the Oakland Athletics, the Bronx Bombers banged out three home runs. As it turned out, they needed all three of them. Mark Teixeira tattooed two taters, tying his season total from 2014 with 22. Stephen Drew also joined the party, inserted into the game for defense, rang one off the FOX Business sign in right for the eventual winner and to win lunch with Neil Cavuto, I'm guessing.
Teixeira's first of the evening, came in the fourth. With the Yankees down 2-1, Tex tanked the equalizer to right center, off Evan Scribner. It gave Tex 21 round trippers on the campaign.

Then in the sixth, Teixeira drilled his second of the contest, again off Scribner to right center. Home run 22 for Teixeira, doubled the Yankees advantage to 4-2.

Moving to the eighth, Drew dented the right field facade off Fernando Abad. It was home run number 12 for Drew, second most among second basemen in baseball. Drew's drive made it 5-2 Yankees and proved pivotal in the end.
