Bronx Bombers home run alert
Keeping tabs on every home run for the New York Yankees this season. The Yankees started out well, spurred by the long ball but ultimately fell short to the Boston Red Sox, 5-3. Alex Rodriguez and Jacoby Ellsbury provided the punch for the navy blue and gray.

With the Yankees down 3-1 in the sixth, Ellsbury rocked a solo jack to center, off Rodriguez, pulling the Yanks within one. The home run was Ellsbury's second of the season was also number 18 with the Yankees and 83 on his career.
On the campaign the Bronx Bombers have 114 home runs.
