Clint Frazier to undergo MRI on oblique
Embed from Getty Images Just a half hour before last night's game, outfielder Clint Frazier was scratched from the lineup with soreness in his oblique. After the game, manager Joe Girardi confirmed Frazier would undergo an MRI on Thursday just to give Frazier and the team some piece of mind.
Clint Frazier (oblique) will have an MRI in the morning, Joe Girardi said. "I don't think it's really significant."

Frazier had been battling oblique soreness for the past few days, but it was evident his oblique was bothering him during batting practice. Garrett Cooper was slotted in the lineup as Frazier's replacement. If Frazier has to miss more than a few days, he could be a corresponding move for Aaron Hicks, who is slated to return to the Yankees lineup on Friday night.
