Current and former Yankees react to Roy Halladay's passing
The baseball world lost, not only a great player, but an all-around great man today. Around noontime, Roy Halladay's single engine aircraft crashed into the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Florida, he was just 40-years-old. "Doc" retired from baseball in 2013 after a 16-year career that saw him win two Cy Young awards, make eight All Star games, pitch a perfect game and a postseason no hitter.
The baseball community, including current and former Yankees, took to social media to offer condolences, share their memories and tell stories about the late great Doc.
