Didi Gregorius placed on 10-day DL
Didi Gregorius has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a left heel contusion. The injury was sustained Sunday against the Blue Jays after a first inning collision with Kendrys Morales. The move is retroactive to 8/20 and the team recalled Luke Voit to fill Didi's roster spot.

Didi is hitting .270 with 22 home runs and an .816 OPS in 118 games this season. He has been on a tear in August, hitting .303 with four homers and a .919 OPS across 18 games.
Look for Gleyber Torres to hold down shortstop duties in Didi's absent, with Neil Walker able to slide into second base. Ronald Torreyes will also see increased playing time, as he can play both short and second.
