Ivan Nova to Throw More Bullpens

Ivan Nova is recovering from Tommy John Surgery and seems to be making good progress as he is scheduled to throw another 45 pitch bullpen tomorrow, according to Bryan Hoch.

Hoch also said that he will throw another two bullpens, barring any setbacks. After that Nova could face actual hitters. Nova was sidelined for most of the 2014 season with the Tommy John Surgery. When he comes back it is expected he will replace Adam Warren in the Yankees rotation giving them a formidable one through five.

Warren won the fifth job in spring and has pitched extremely well. The Yankees hope he can continue his strong pitching so they will not have to rush Nova back.
