Luis Cessa's rehab assignment transferred to Trenton
The Trenton Thunder announced this afternoon that Luis Cessa will start tonight's game against Erie.
The Yankees' Double-A affiliate will be Cessa's second stop in his road to recovering from an oblique strain suffered in Miami on April 17, just hours after being recalled to the Majors.

The righty started one game earlier in the week in Tampa, the Yankees' High-A affiliate. He went 1.2 innings, giving up two earned runs on three hits. He struggled with control, as he walked four batters in the abbreviated outing.
Cessa has appeared in three games for the Yankees this season before the injury. The 26-year-old has permitted two runs in four innings, good for a 4.50 ERA. Over the course of three seasons in the Bronx, he has spot-started 14 games and owns a collective ERA of 4.49 between the starting rotation and the bullpen.
It is a possibility that he could appear back in the Majors towards the end of the month.
