Masahiro Tanaka's rehab hits a snag
Everyone was under the assumption that Masahrio Tanaka's rehab was coming along fine, he recently threw a 49-pitch simulated game without any apparent issue. But now things have hit a temporary road block, via Sweeny Murti the Yankees have said that Tanaka is experiencing "general arm soreness," and the current rehab plans have been put on hold. Not sure exactly what that means, but he just spoke to the media and said it is not his elbow and is returning to New York where he can continue to strengthen his arm with the hopes of still returning this season. He is not scheduled to see any doctors as of now, but no plans to throw either. Let's be honest there is very little time left in the season to get ready and in game shape, so there is a chance he is shut down. All we can do is just sit back and wait.
Tanaka comeback is on hold after experiencing what Yankees say is "general arm soreness." Not specifically elbow.
