Spring training game 2 lineup: 2/26/14

The Yankees will finally square off against Major League competition today, as they travel to Bradenton, Fla., to take on the Pittsburgh Pirates where Ivan Nova will get his first start of the spring. Three of the newest Yankees will make the trip: Jacoby Ellsbury, Carlos Beltran and Brian McCann will all start. Eduardo Nunez was originally slotted in at shortstop and hitting second, but he was a late scratch because of illness. The Yankees will see the Pirates again tomorrow at George M. Steinbrenner Field, when Derek Jeter is expected to make his spring debut. As tradition, the Yankees will don their home pinstripe uniforms for their first home game of spring training.
