Stanton, Judge unlikely to be ready for Opening Day
The Yankees' injury woes continue.
Earlier this morning, Cashman confirmed that Judge and Stanton will not be ready for Opening Day on March 26th.
Regarding Judge, he is "responding well" to treatment and "feeling better" over the last 48 hours, but will continue to go through tests. However, because there are now only 3 1/2 weeks before Opening Day, it is not likely that he will be ready in time. Judge is scheduled for two more tests today on his right shoulder/pectoral issue.

Stanton will also not be ready for Opening Day, but he is expected back in April.

With these nagging injuries, we will probably see an outfield of Brett Garnder, Mike Tauchman, and Clint Frazier to start the season. Miguel Andujar is also in the mix, as he has been taking outfield reps. He's "looked solid out there for the most part", according to Hoch.
