Teixeira injured, out of WBC

According to Daniel Barbarisi of the Wall Street Journal, Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira will be scratched from the World Baseball Classic due to injury. Teixeira has been diagnosed with a strained right wrist, and said he felt something "pop." He will be out for at least two weeks. Things obviously keep getting worse for the Yankees, who have been dealing with injuries ever since Spring Training started. Already an old team, it's been the younger guys who have been sidelined so far: Phil Hughes with a bulging disc and Curtis Granderson with a broken forearm. Should Teix miss any considerable time, Robinson Cano will be the guy in the Yankees lineup - a lineup that has already lost over 100 home runs from last year.
