Yankees avoid arbitration with Dellin Betances
The Yankees have reached a $5.1 million deal with Dellin Betances for the 2018 season, avoiding arbitration.

The big man went 3-6 with a 2.87 ERA in 2017 and made his fourth straight All Star Game. It was an improvement over his 2016 campaign, but still not quite to dominant Dellin we saw in his first two seasons.
Betances is the fourth player the Yankees have reached a deal with, Aaron Hicks, Adam Warren and Tommy Kahnle being the others. Sonny Gray, Chasen Shreve, Didi Gregorius and Austin Romine are the only arbitration eligible players left. Stay tuned.
