Yankees game 153 preview (9/25/15)
We're in the home stretch and CC Sabathia (5-9, 4.80 ERA) takes on Carlos Rodon (8-6, 3.78 ERA) in game two of four. Sabathia out pitched Matt Harvey his last time out, allowing one run on five hits through six innings getting the win. He is 2-1 with a 1.04 ERA since returning from the DL and has held batters to a .190 average with 18 K's in 17 1/3 innings.
Rodon held the Indians to one run on six hits through 7 2/3 innings for his eighth win of the year his last time out. Since August 5, his ERA has dropped from 5.00 to 3.78 and he had seven quality starts. He racked up 45 K's in that span holding batters to a .193 average. He faced the Yanks back on July 31, giving up eight runs on eight hits and four walks lasting just three innings.
