The Yankees welcome the Oakland A's into town tonight to begin a three-game weekend set. So far, New York has gone 6-1 on their current 10 game homestand, and look to CC Sabathia this evening to continue the winning trend. Going for Oakland will be righty A.J. Griffin. The Yankees also welcome in some new faces to the clubhouse; infielder Chris Nelson was acquired from the Rockies on Wednesday, and righty-reliever Preston Claiborne was called up from Triple-A to take the injured Joba Chamberlain's place on the roster.
