Yankees game 31 preview + lineup (5/9/15)

The shut down kid Chase Whitley (1-0, 0.75 ERA) gets the ball for his third start of the year taking on Wei-Yin Chen (0-1, 2.83 ERA) in game three. Whitley was lights out over seven scoreless innings against the Blue Jays Monday, but the offense didn't repay his efforts and they lost 3-1. He is 0-1 with a whopping 14.29 ERA against the O's in his career.

Chen gave up just two runs on seven hits through six with four K's but took a no decision against the Rays. He is 2-4 with a 5.18 ERA in his career against the Yanks.
