The Yankees enter today in sole possession of first place, and are poised for the series sweep against the Royals in an afternoon contest from Kauffman Stadium. Hiroki Kuroda gets the start for New York against Ervin Santana. After the game, the Yankees head to Cleveland for a doubleheader tomorrow before returning home for a six game homestand.
