Yankees game 9 lineup: 4/10/13

The Yankees will try to extend their winning streak to four and go over the .500 mark for the first time this season, as tonight they will face the Cleveland Indians in game three of a four game set - weather permitting. This four game series marks the only time the Yankees head to Cleveland this season, so both teams would love to get the game in. The offense has scored 25 runs over the first two games of the series, finally waking up after a mild start. Andy Pettitte delivered once again last night, throwing seven innings of one-run ball. Ivan Nova looks to continue that trend and will take to the mound tonight, trying to improve on his lackluster first start of the season. Brett Myers, who was originally slated to start tonight, pitched in yesterday's game so he will be unavailable for the Tribe. Right-hander Corey Kluber will make his fourth appearance, second start. Here are the lineups: New York Yankees (4-4) Brett Gardner CF Robinson Cano 2B Kevin Youkilis 3B Travis Hafner DH Vernon Wells LF Brennan Boesch RF Eduardo Nunez SS Lyle Overbay 1B Chris Stewart C RHP Ivan Nova (0-1, 7.71 ERA) Cleveland Indians (3-5) Michael Bourn CF Asdrubal Cabrera SS Jason Kipnis 2B Nick Swisher 1B Michael Brantley LF Mark Reynolds DH Lonnie Chisenhall 3B Yan Gomes C Drew Stubs RF RHP Corey Kluber Game Time: 7:05 PM EST – Progressive Field – Cleveland, OH.
