Yankees make four acquisitions

The Yankees made four acquisitions today.
After being designated for assignment by the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Yankees acquired left-handed reliever Mike Zagurski to a minor-league deal.
The 30-year-old Zagurski had six appearances with the Pirates and allowed 10 runs on 10 hits on his six innings of work (15.00 ERA). He had three stints with the Philadelphia Phillies (2007, 2010-11) and a year with the Arizona Diamondbacks (2012).
He will be assigned to Triple-A affiliate Scranton/Wilkes Barre.
The Yankees also acquired right-handed reliever Yoshinori Tateyama from the Texas Rangers for future considerations:

The 37-year-old Tateyama had two stints in the majors with the Texas Rangers to a career ERA of 5.75 but has not made an appearance in the majors this season.
Reported by YES Network, the Yankees signed outfielder Corey Patterson to a minor league deal and assigned him to Triple-A affiliate Scranton/Wilkes-Barre:

— YES Network (@YESNetwork) June 21, 2013 The 33-year-old Patterson has been in the league since 2000. A majority of his career was spent as a member of the Chicago Cubs organization (2000-05). He was last seen in the majors in 2011 as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals and Toronto Blue Jays. He is capable of playing all three outfield spots.
The Yankees also acquired utility player Brent Lillibridge from the Chicago Cubs for a player to be named later or cash considerations:

He notably spent a little more than three seasons with the Chicago White Sox. He had 24 at-bats in nine games with the Chicago Cubs this year, only getting one hit (.042). He is capable of playing every position on the field except catcher.
