In a press release put out by the Yankees today, they encouraged fans to arrive to the game early and be in their seats by 12:30 pm. Game time is scheduled to be around 1:00 pm. Alex Rodriguez made history being the third player ever to get his 3,000th hit via the home run joining former Yankees Wade Boggs and Derek Jeter. The Yankees and Rodriguez have had a very shaky relationship. After the 162-game suspension Rodriguez served last season, the Yankees tried everything to to debunk his contract and make him go away, however, to no avail. They also refused to pay his $5 million when Rodriguez passed Mays on the all-time home run record. Now, the Yankees will celebrate the once loathed star. Tickets are available at yankees.com. Be sure to be there to celebrate Rodriguez's achievement.
