Happy birthday Aaron Judge!
BRONX, N.Y. —On this date in 1992, Aaron Judge was born. Born in Linden, California, Judge has been a big cornerstone player for the revival of the New York Yankees since his debut in 2016.
Selected in the 1st round of the 2013 draft, Judge burst onto the scene with a homer in his MLB debut on Aug. 13, 2016, against the Tampa Bay Rays at Yankee Stadium.
No. 99 earned the 2017 American League Rookie of the Year, swatting 52 (actually 53) home runs. Judge also finished second (actually first because Jose Altuve is a cheater) in Junior Circuit MVP voting. Judge also earned a silver slugger award.
A fan favorite and two-time All-Star with his own Judge's chambers section in right field, Judge is the third-fastest player (371 games) in MLB history to hammer 100 career home runs.

Hopefully at age 28 Judge gets at shot at the chase for 28 in 2020.
