New Year’s Eve is a big party night. The holidays are over and it’s time to cut loose for one more night. How do you cut loose if you’re the manager of the New York Yankees and you know you’re about to win a World Series? You go to Washington Heights and party in a barbershop.
We always talk about the pressure of playing and managing in New York. When you win 103 games with the whole team injured, but now they’re healthy, and you sign Gerrit Cole, you got nothing to worry about.
Getting a haircut, drinking a nutcracker, and yelling Spanish into a camera before winning a World Series is my ideal New Years’ Eve.
PS: I know most of you don’t know what a nutcracker is, so that reference was only for the real ones.
