Brett Gardner, Chase Headley attend MetLife's Monster Jam
Fresh off his walk-off, game winning home run and subsequent Gatorade bath, Brett Gardner and teammate Chase Headley crossed the Mighty Hudson to take in MetLife Stadium's annual Monster Jam. Prior to the high-octane show on April 23, 2016, they posed for a red-carpet-like photo with Jets players Lorenzo Mauldin and Brian Winters.

Gardner and Headley were just two in a crowd of 50,855 car and truck enthusiasts that gathered to watch the tricks and flips from twenty famous 10,000-pound trucks including: El Toro Loco, Grave Digger, and Team Hot Wheels. Hardly recognizable, the neat turf of MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ (home of the New York Jets and New York Giants) was buried under 4,000 tons of hard-packed dirt. Fox Sports captured the best trick of the night, a firework-filled, Evel Knievel-like jump over six monster trucks by driver Tom Meents.

Along with Gardner, Headley, who once told the New York Post that his son Colt Headley "loves anything with wheels. Loves Monster trucks, motorcycles, loves trains...", was, no doubt, loving every minute of the competition.
