Alex Rodriguez exits tonight's game with hamstring injury
A-Rod exits tonight's game with a hamstring injury. MRI tomorrow.
In tonight's 4-1 loss to the Baltimore Orioles, designated hitter Alex Rodriguez exited the game with a hamstring injury.
In the fifth inning, Rodriguez hit a ground ball to shortstop Manny Machado to end the inning. As he left the box, he visibly slowed down approaching first base. Following the inning, Rodriguez was seen testing his right leg. Rodriguez will undergo an MRI on Wednesday.
Girardi said A-Rod's right hamstring is "definitely worrisome." Will have MRI tomorrow morning.
