FS1's A-Rod to make broadcast booth debut Thursday for Yanks-Royals
Alex Rodriguez will once again be in the company of Yankees, but this time, he'll be up in the press box. The FOX Sports analyst will make his broadcasting booth debut with play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt on Thursday, as New York wraps up its three-game set against the Royals at Kauffman Stadium. Two days later, the 14-time All Star will be in the booth at Citi Field when the Mets host the Angels. Play-by-play headman Joe Buck will be alongside Rodriguez, while Ken Rosenthal reports from the field.
Really excited to be with my man @AROD tomorrow for his booth debut! @Yankees @Royals on @FS1. KC BBQ here we come :)

Rodriguez, who signed a multi-year contract with FOX as a full-time analyst, is also serving as a special advisor to Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner.
