According to those same sources, Torres has fielded plenty of offers, including from teams in Asia. Torres, who turned 33 in October, pitched to a 4.68 ERA in 57.1 innings for the Yankees cross-town rival in 2015. In six seasons, Torres has pitched for three teams and to a 4.26 ERA. Since trading away relievers Adam Warren and Justin Wilson, the Yankees are in need to more depth in the bullpen. With a strong backend of the bullpen with Aroldis Chapman, Andrew Miller and Dellin Betances, the Yankees are short in the middle innings. Many young players will compete for those innings but Torres could potentially be of veteran help and depth to the middle innings for the Yankees.
