Rosenthal: Andrew Miller likely Indians' 'top target', report says
While only two weeks separate the Yankees from the non-waiver trade deadline, Andrew Miller still doesn't know whether or not to pack his bags. According to Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal, the 31-year-old Miller would be an ideal fit with the Cleveland Indians, possibly representing the club's primary target this July.
Gimenez is favorite of #Indians’ pitchers, and has connected with Bauer. Team’s No. 1 need is LHR, and #Yankees’ Miller probably top target.

Considering that Cleveland's entire pitching staff is right-handed, Rosenthal believes that Miller would provide the coveted left-handed delivery, and could be utilized differently out of the bullpen, making Miller all the more valuable to the American League Central leader.
#Indians’ entire staff is RH. Miller ideal fit because of his comfort in setup role. CLE could match him up rather than just use him in 9th.

But the price for Miller must be steep and engrossing, according to the Washington Post, as Miller told reporter Chelsea James during All-Star festivities last week that Yankees ownership would only accept an overwhelming offer for the reliever. Last Saturday, eight teams were reportedly in attendance at Yankee Stadium to scout Miller, which included the Chicago Cubs, Washington Nationals, Texas Rangers, and San Francisco Giants. The Indians weren't on the guest list. In 41.1 innings this season, Miller has collected a 1.31 ERA and 70 strikeouts.
