Hey guys, happy to be up 2-0! Andrew, I think part of the reason this postseason feels weird is that there haven't been many lead changes. Yanks get up early and pitching holds it. Other than Stantons's HR (which was in a tied game) there really haven't been late inning heroics. You're not giving the pitching enough credit.
I constantly think of that post you've read twice in the show's history (possibly from Simon?) about the late 90s Yanks, the Cheatin' Astros run and the 2022 Yanks. I'd love it if you could find it and read it again. NO ONE hits in the playoffs. Pitching pitching pitching. The Yanks are doing enough to survive and advance bc all they need to get to is 3 or 4 runs to win these games.
