Major League Baseball along with the MLB Fan Cave recently released their tribute video for Derek Jeter that will begin airing this weekend on ESPN, FOX, TBS, and MLB Network. While the video titled “Legacy” might not bring a tear to your eye like the recently released Gatorade spot, they certainly get the message across.
The commercial features the likes of Mike Trout and this summer’s Little League sensation Mo’ne Davis along with a few others. The brief 35 second ad shows players emulating Jeter’s on-field actions, like his famous jump throw and his batting stance. MLB has also announced a print ad will accompany the video starting on September 25 in various newspapers including the USA Today.
