Preview – Yankees vs Mets (4/25/15)

CC Sabathia (0-3, 4.35) still searching for his first win of the year will face off against Matt Harvey (3-0, 3.50 ERA) in game two of the Subway Series. Sabathia held the Tigers to two runs over eight innings his last time out. However, his offense didn’t repay his best outing of the year and lost the game 2-1. He’s 3-1 with a 2.14 ERA in five career starts against the Mets.

Harvey was sick his last time out with flu like symptoms against Miami, but he still go the job done going six innings with 7 strikeouts allowing four runs; his bats were on fire and he got his third win. He has also been pitching through a left knee injury for the past few weeks. Harvey grew up a Yankees fan and this will be his second start against them, first at Yankee Stadium.
