CC Sabathia exits early Tuesday night with strained left hamstring

Updated Post: Wednesday, 12:02 a.m. — CC Sabathia left Tuesday night’s start with a strained left hamstring, according to YES Network’s Meredith Marakovits. A stint on the disabled list is expected for the 36-year-old southpaw.

 

Orginal Post: Tuesday, 11:45 p.m. — Yankees’ starter CC Sabthia left Tuesday night’s game after the fourth inning with an apparent leg injury. According to YES Network’s Meredith Marakovits, Sabathia appeared to be shaking a bit on the mound, and grabbed at his left leg before closing out the inning and walking back to the dugout. 

In those four frames, Sabathia allowed three hits for one unearned run, while striking out four and walking one.
