CC Sabathia expects to return soon

CC Sabathia is currently on the disabled list because of a groin injury but he does not expect to stay much longer.

The veteran lefty believes he will be back once the 15 days on the disabled list are up. He also said that he has not felt pain in the groin since the second day he aggravated it.

Sabathia has been solid for the Yankees this season, throwing his best game of the season the night he felt his groin pull. His is pitching to a 2-2 record with a 3.81 ERA. In his last start against Baltimore, Sabathia went 7 shutout innings striking out six in the Yankees 7-0 win.

Ivan Nova has filled in for Sabathia and went 4 2/3 innings in his one start. If Sabathia can continue his strong start the season, he will be of big help for the inconsistent Yankee rotation.
