Joba Chamberlain (who had to undergo Tommy John surgery last June) made 15 throws off a half-mound at the team’s minor-league complex, reports the AP.
Chamberlain’s season ended in June, with a strained flexor muscle. He went 2-0 with a 2.83 ERA in 27 appearances for the Yankees last season. The Yankees are hopeful he will return before the All-Star break in 2012.
