Yankees to sign Ichiro for 2 years

The Yankees are close to finalizing a two-year deal with Ichiro Suzuki worth $12-13 million. Ichiro who will slot in as the everyday RF will look to close out his career in Pinstripes.  Ichiro hit .338/.363/.531 in Yankee Stadium during the 2012 year, and will look to maintain those lines.  Ichiro would join the Yankees outfield of all left handed batters next to Curtis Granderson and Brett Gardner.  The Yankees should be on the look out for another right handed bat to DH against lefties, at least until Alex Rodriguez is healthy enough to platoon that role and 3B.  The Yankees will most definitely have a lot more speed in their daily lineup with the signing of Ichiro, and a healthy Brett Gardner;  we could see a stark contrast in the way they swing the bat and run the bases in 2013.
