This week, Dan Pfeiffer (@danpfeiffer74), co-founder of the Rolling Thunder blog and BronxPinstripes writer, joined Scott and I to talk Yankees prospects.
In Part I, we break down Aaron Judge’s impressive spring thus far and how he projects as an all-around hitter in the major leagues. We also discuss Gary Sanchez’ ups-and-downs, Luis Torrens’ injury that will end his season, and the Yankees strategy drafting catchers.
Of course we touch on Luis Severino, who most believe is the number 1 prospect in the system. Dan think’s he’ll start this season in Double-A Trenton but probably make the jump to Scranton at some point.
We’re also really high on Bryan Mitchell, who has a shot at the 5th starter spot with Capuano out to start the season.
