It will not get any easier on Friday for the Yankees, who are facing left-hander Matt Moore. Moore is pitching to a 2.95 ERA this season and has had success vs the Yankees throughout his career. Tampa is riding high after a comeback win vs David Price in Fenway on Thursday, and the Yankees have dropped 5 of 6 games to the Mariners and A’s, two weaker teams.
The Yanks need to get back on track by taking 2 of 3 from Tampa or else things could really start to get ugly, if this week has not been ugly enough already.
