Keeping tabs on every home run for the New York Yankees this season. Wednesday’s contest against the Baltimore Orioles, saw the Yanks blast two bombs. They’d need both from Mark Teixeira and Alex Rodriguez in a 4-3 victory, Joe Girardi’s 700th as a Yankee skipper.
With the Yanks up 1-0 in the first frame, Teixeira unloaded on a 1-2 pitch from Kevin Gausman. Teixeira’s two-run smoke shot to right, staked New York to a 3-0 advantage. Teixeira has 24 home runs on the season.

Then in the fifth, what looked like an insurance bash, turned into the eventual winner for A-Rod. On an 0-1 delivery from Gausman, A-Rod cranked a no doubter beyond the bullpen in deep left. Home run number 20 on the season for A-Rod, doubled the Yanks lead to 4-2.
