Bronx Bombers home run alert

Keeping tabs on every home run for the New York Yankees this season. In a 7-6 loss to the Texas Rangers, the Bronx Bombers went yard three times. Two courtesy of Mark Teixeira and one by Brian McCann.

During the first frame, Teixeira doubled the Yankees lead to 2-0, homering to center, off Yovani Gallardo. It was home run number 25 on the season for Teixeira.

With the Yankees trailing 4-3 in the third, McCann lined a two-run tater to right, also off Gallardo. Home run number 16 for McCann, place the Yanks back on top at 5-4.

Then in the seventh, with the game knotted at five, Tex was back at it again. This time Tex drove a solo shot to center, off Keone Kela, for homer number 26, making it 6-5 Yankees.

The Bronx Bombers have 137 home runs this year.
