Keeping tabs on every home run for the New York Yankees this season. Well, the Yankees hit their fair share of home runs but once again the Toronto Blue Jays went big fly too. It was a doubleheader sweep by Toronto, leaving the power hitting Yankees wishing for some additional power pitching.

Brett Gardner went yard once in the first game and twice in the nightcap. Gardy now has 16 home runs on the campaign, one shy of his career high of 17 in 2014.

Also going deep during the first contest, were Chase Headley and Alex Rodriguez. Headley has eleven home runs on the year and Alex Rodriguez now has 31 round trippers. For A-Rod, it’s the most home runs he’s hit in a season since belting 35 in 2008.
