Has anyone else noticed how it seems to be very ironic the our 2 hole hitter seems to succeed each yr (specifically Nick Swisher and Curtis Granderson)? I mean I am thrilled that Grandy is havin a break out year and i look forward to many more…..but is it Grandy or is it the fact he hits in front of a-rod, tex and cano? For example look at nick swisher this year….def sub par from last yr where he hit second consistantly….what if the yankees put cano in front of tex and a-rod could we imagine his numbers than? To me hitting is all about the pitching you see and in my opinion no line up in baseball is goin to give any hitter better pitches to hit than hitting second in front of tex a-rod and cano so maybe try posada there (other than he cant run and will only clog the bases) but honestly our 2 hitter will see better pitches than any hitter in any line up.
