Yankees Game 7 Lineup 4/7/2014

Derek Jeter will have a chance to salute the fans of Baseball one last time in 2014.
The Captain

Back in the Bronx! The home opener is just about to start, and all eyes will be on Derek Jeter as he makes his final opening day start at Yankee Stadium. Manager Joe Girardi tweaked the lineup a bit yesterday, moving Jacoby Ellsbury to the three hole. Looks like he’s sticking with it again today. Brett Gardner will lead off and Carlos Beltran is back in right field batting cleanup. I am a little surprised Girardi is still sticking with Alfonso Soriano, he did get his first hit yesterday, breaking his 0-for-17 slump. I think maybe being at home, Sori’s bat will take off. Hiroki Kuroda gets the start, looking to build off his last outing. On the Orioles side JJ Hardy is still out of the lineup with back spasms. Keep an eye on Nelson Cruz, he’s had horrible numbers against Kuroda in the past.
