It was worth dealing with the cold weather this afternoon, and I think it will be worth it tonight if you are heading out for game 2 of today’s day/night doubleheader against the Chicago Cubs. Micheal Pineda looks to make good on the mystery substance that surrounded his last outing against the Red Sox. But the bigger news is Derek Jeter is back in the lineup as expected. I think the extra day off was well needed. He’s back in the two hole and starting at shortstop tonight. Few guys getting double duty tonight including Scott Sizemore, Brett Gardner, Alfonso Soriano and the hottest bat in the lineup Carlos Beltran. Tonight the Yankees will honor Jackie Robinson and Nelson Mandela, both teams will wear the familiar number 42 tonight at the stadium. Should bring back some memories.
