If you don’t know what an Advent Calendar is, and I’m no expert, it’s a special Christian calendar leading up to Christmas. So leading up to Opening Day, I have put together a 25-part series of things to get excited about because baseball is almost officially back.
Roll Call
Have you ever brought someone to a Yankee game that hasn’t gone and doesn’t know about Roll Call? In a city with so much going on and so many people busy with their own shit, Roll Call is an exception. For a minute and a half, 81 times a year (plus the playoffs), we are all on the same page.
It doesn’t matter what game it is, or what pre-game ceremony the team has planned, this is the true start to the game for all Yankee fans.
