If you don’t know what an Advent Calendar is, and I’m no expert, it’s a special Christian calendar leading up to Christmas. So leading up to Opening Day, I have put together a 25-part series of things to get excited about because baseball is almost officially back.
Aaron Judge Playing Catch With A Kid
Obviously, this weekend got off to a sad start with the news that Aaron Judge has a fractured rib and could miss some time. A lot of people are freaking out, while some people are being level headed and intelligent about it only being March. Whichever side you land on, just know I’m on the correct side, and Aaron Judge will be back soon and everything will be fine.
Now that we agree that Judge is going to be fine, how about we focus on a cool thing he does? Almost every game Judge plays catch with a kid in the stands while he is warming up. With baseball players making so much money, Aaron Judge has been a nice reminder that baseball is a game, and games are for kids. We all talk a lot about how much it costs to take a family of 4 to a baseball game, but an experience like this is priceless.
And Judge knows it too.
So turn that frown upside down, because baseball is almost back and Aaron Judge will be there too.
