Chris Capuano makes his season debut this afternoon as the Yankees try to win the series against the Kansas City Royals. Capuano suffered a quad strain during spring training which sidelined him for almost two months. To make room on the roster, reliever Bryan Mitchell was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Edinson Volquez starts for KC.
