First things first, the Yankees need to win their game tonight, as they take on the Boston Red Sox in the third game of a four game set at Yankee Stadium. Having lost two straight to the Red Sox, the Bronx Bombers will send Masahiro Tanaka to the mound, hoping that he can help get them back in the win column.

Out of four teams fighting for their respective playoff spot (Minnesota Twins, Houston Astros, Texas Rangers, and Los Angeles Angels), the Yankees need at least two of them to lose today in order to clinch.
