Keeping tabs on every home run for the New York Yankees this season. Carlos Beltran and Mark Teixeira gave the Bronx Bombers all the pop they'd need, defeating the Toronto Blue Jays by a final count of 4-1.
Beltran started right where he left off. During the first frame, Beltran smoked a solo shot off Marco Estrada to right. It was homer number 12 for Beltran, staking the Yankees to a 1-0 advantage.
With the game squared at one in the sixth, Teixeira took Estrada deep to right with a towering drive. The solo launch by Tex was home run number 31 on the campaign and gave the Yanks a 2-1 edge.
The Bronx Bombers have 155 home runs.
