D.J. Mitchell Called Up From Triple-A

Right-hander D.J. Mitchell has been called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees to give the Bombers an extra arm in the bullpen.

In 4 starts this year for Scranton, Mitchell is 2-1 with a 3.13 ERA.

This could mean that David Phelps is in the rotation and Freddy Garcia is out. No official word yet. We will keep you posted.

UPDATE: Freddy Garcia is going to the bullpen.
